Wavves - Hideaway

Wavves announces their new album Hideaway, out July 16th via Fat Possum Records. Across its brief but impactful nine tracks, the album, produced by Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio, is about what happens when you get old enough to take stock of the world around you and realize that no one is going to save you but yourself, and even that might be a tall order.

Neckscars - Don't Panic

Formed in Downstate, New York in late 2018, Neckscars are Will Romeo (Vox/Guitar), Justin Parish (Guitar/Vox), Colin Harte (Bass), and Craig Sala (Drums). Over the past two decades the members have been cutting their teeth in the DIY scene and have gathered to form this expansive collaboration. Without any specific stylistic direction in mind, they were determined to write a diverse collection of songs which proved to be an enjoyable process. The result was a classic punk rock and roll sound that doesn’t lean too hard on nostalgia and standard formulas.

Latewaves - Hell To Pay

LATEWAVES was born on a warm New Jersey morning in 2016. Waking up on the beach after a long night, Shawna Grabowski (drums) and Mike Pellegrino (guitars/vox) decided to finally take action on their pact to start a band. After accosting longtime friend Howie Cohen (bass/vox), and a few EP’s and tours later, the band decided to put everything they had into creating their first full length , Hell to Pay, with the help of Brett Romnes (producer of Free Throw, Heart Attack Man, Hot Mulligan, Seaway) and Vinnie Caruana (The Movielife, I Am the Avalanche).

Descendents - 9th & Walnut

Descendents announce their upcoming album 9th & Walnut due out July 23 via Epitaph Records. Recorded in 2002, the original four-piece lineup — bassist Tony Lombardo, drummer Bill Stevenson, guitarist Frank Navetta (d. 2008), and vocalist Milo Aukerman — entered the studio to finally record the songs with which they first forged their genre-defining sound.

Oh Condor - Emergency Psychic

Dayton, Ohio has long been an unlikely bastion of top-tier indie rock. Bands like Guided By Voices, The Breeders, and Brainiac put the unassuming industrial town on the radar of college kids and music journalists the world over in the '90s, and it’s been quietly churning out excellent acts ever since. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that Dayton can produce a band like Oh Condor.

Hurry - Fake Ideas

Philadelphia, PA power pop extraordinaires Hurry have returned today to announce their upcoming fourth full-length, Fake Ideas. Due out June 25th from Lame-O Records, the album merges Hurry's timeless, longing guitar pop with vocalist/guitarist Matt Scottoline's honest observations about navigating a recently diagnosed anxiety disorder.

Chaser - Dreamers

Chaser Dreamers Punk Rock Theory

Following a sound clip of Charlie Chaplin’s speech from ‘The Great Dictator’, California’s CHASER kick off their fifth album with the short rager that is ‘Fight Of Our Lives’. Fast-as-fuck drums?

We Are The Union - Ordinary Life

We Are The Union is a band with many homes, but is currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Drawing heavily on ska, pop, and punk rock, the band’s 2021 full length, ‘Ordinary Life,’ balances soul crushing lyrics about dysphoria and heartbreak with endless hooks and furiously catchy choruses. The album, which serves as vocalist Reade Wolcott’s coming out as a trans woman, was recorded in secret in a rented house in Joshua Tree with producer Jon Graber.
