After half a decade of not releasing new music Orange Countys most notorious melodic hardcore force IGNITE are ready to get back to work with their new vocalist Eli Santana up front and a new album in hand. “It’s a new chapter for IGNITE,” reaffirms Brett. “But there’s a lot of looking back to some of our earliest records like Call on My Brothers and having the same feeling writing these songs with a new singer.” In these Southern California stalwarts’ minds, the more things change, the more they stay the same. “This is what we love doing – as it was in 1993 and as it is now.”

 

You Vandal - Pretend I Don't Exist

You Vandal shared the first single from their upcoming LP release 'Pretend I Don't Exist,.slated for a February 11, 2022 release.

Pretend I Don't Exist is the follow up to 2017's I Just Want to Go Back to Hell and features more of the band's signature infectious pop punk that's familiar just as much in their hometown of Gainesville (think No Idea Records and Fest, duh) as it would be in a Midwest VFW hall show. Super catchy harmonies layered with the right amount riffage and grit that's sometimes lost in what passes for pop punk these days.

 

Fontaines D.C. - Skinty Fia

Fontaines D.C. have announced their third album, Skinty Fia, to be released on 22nd April on Partisan Records. News of the album comes with the release of its first single, “Jackie Down The Line” - replete with a video directed by Hugh Mulhern and starring multidisciplinary artist, MC, dancer, and choreographer, Blackhaine.

Charger - Warhorse

CHARGER has premiered their music video for “Rolling Through The Night”, the first single from their new record Warhorse.

The band says "The song is essentially about living 'Wild and free I'm riding on the wind, numb to fear or pain.’ A feeling of invincibility and living your life to just go out and own every night and get into whatever you can find.”

The powerhouse trio consists of McGee, Matt Freeman (Rancid, Operation Ivy) singing and playing bass, and Jason Willer (UK Subs, Jello Biafra’s Guantanamo School of Medicine) who drums and sings too.

Young Prisms - Drifter

San Francisco band Young Prisms return with the announcement of their first full-length album in nearly 10 years, Drifter, due March 25th via Fire Talk. Produced by Shaun Durkan [Weekend, Soft Kill], the twelve-track album finds steadiness in the embrace of uncertainty, where Young Prisms explore the tension and release that comes with bringing your head down from the clouds to make sense of the tangible entanglements that make up everyday existence.

New York-based songwriter and musician Kevin Devine announced his brand-new, expansive, tenth full-length album, Nothing's Real, So Nothing's Wrong, alongside its captivating new single, "Albatross." Due out March 25, 2022 via Triple Crown Records, the forthcoming LP is now available for pre-order.
