The Hearted - Jip Lee(lead vocals/guitar), Kayleigh van der Wijst (lead vocals/guitar), Casper de Haas (bass/backing vocals) and Tom Schoone (drums/backing vocals) - is an energetic poppunk band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands that is getting ready to release their new EP, ‘Currents,’ out soon on White Russian Records (pre-order). Recorded during the pandemic, these 5 songs show a band that has been working hard to further perfect their sound. Packed with breakdowns and their trademark use of 4-part harmonies, The Hearted go a long way of pleasing both fans of Blink-182 and A Day To Remember. Today, we are premiering the video for the band’s new single, ‘The Devil’s Hold’.

Following the release of their debut album ‘Sorry for Apologizing,’ The Hearted went through a line-up change and released the track ‘Ink and Feathers’ on May 1, 2017. With this release, the band entered a new era in their sound and production. Their next single ‘ No Way Out’ was picked up by several Spotify editorial playlists and has been streamed over 25.000 times. The band played at the legendary Dutch venue ‘de Melkweg’ at a sold out Blinkfest. They went on multiple tours through the Netherlands and in 2019 they played at Jera Open Air festival with bands like Sum 41 and Parkway Drive. In 2020 they released the EP ‘Echoes of Color’.

The band is planning a new tour to support ‘Currents’.
