Rob Lynch

On his Twitter account Rob Lynch claims to play music, which will come in handy when he’s playing on the acoustic stage of Groezrock.

Samiam

With Groezrock coming up in just a couple of weeks, we thought it would be fun to post a bunch of interviews with bands playing this year's festival and just ask them some of the most inane questions.

Looper

In 2074 time travel exists but has been outlawed by the government. Criminal organizations however like to use it to send their enemies 30 years back in time where they are immediately disposed of by so-called loopers. One of those loopers is Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and he is living the life while ending other people’s lives with a blunderbuss, a dumb-looking weapon that blows a hole through pretty much everything.

The Possession

It’s already bad enough when you parents get a divorce. Who will you live with? Do you have to choose sides? And the mother of all questions… is it your fault? But to make matters even worse, Clyde (Jeffery Dean Morgan) and Stephanie’s (Kyra Sedgwick) youngest daughter Emily gets possessed after buying a box at a yard sale that comes with strange markings and a malicious Jewish spirit that is called a dibbuk. Now, that’s what they call a shitty day… those pesky demons!

Stolen

“Stolen” is the latest in what is becoming a long line of trashy action flicks featuring Nicolas Cage, who has hopefully almost paid back his debts to the IRS so he can start making decent movies again. While there was still something to be said for “Seeking Justice” and “Drive Angry”, I barely even registered “Trespass”. And don’t even get me started on “Ghost Rider 2”!

Deadfall

An action flick that takes place in a desolate, snow-covered setting? Can I get a hell yeah? Fargo, A Simple Plan, Reindeer Games… all solid movies! And at first it looked like we could add Deadfall to the list. Liza (Olivia Wilde) and Addison (Eric Bana) are brother and sister and together they just robbed a casino when they crash their car while trying to make their way into Canada. They split up and while it’s smooth sailing from there for Liza who runs into an ex-con named Jay, her brother starts racking up the bodies.
