Okay, let me lay out the first scene here… Adam Sandler wakes up next to his beautiful wife (Salma Hayek), turns over and finds out there’s a deer in the room. He tells his wife to go and open the window but she starts screaming instead. This spooks the deer, which then proceeds to piss all over Sandler’s face. If this defines humor for you, then please… knock yourself out and watch Grown Ups 2, a ‘comedy’ that reunites Sandler with Kevin James, Chris Rock and David Spade following the success of the first movie.

There is a plot but it seems to have been written on a napkin. It boils down to following the characters around on the last day before the summer holiday starts as they find themselves in one unfunny scene after the other. This is not just a terrible movie, it’s an insult to comedy as a genre.
