Cherym - Hey Tori

Cherym Hey Tori Punk Rock Theory

With a seemingly endless supply of big hooks, ridiculously catchy melodies and sun-drenched harmonies, Northern Irish trio Cherym make one hell of an impression on ‘Hey Tori,’ out now on Alcopop!

Mom Jeans - Sweet Tooth

The new album from Berkeley, CA's Mom Jeans, Sweet Tooth, arrives February 25, and its sacchirine and self-deprecating first single "What's Up?" is out now. The track serves as the introduction to this quasi-conceptual masterpiece; an amuse-bouche of angst and self-discovery. It’s a true structural departure from the garage emo-punk Mom Jeans has been making since 2016, leaning all the way into the radio hits and deep cuts from bands like Third Eye Blind, Blink 182, Oasis, Fountains of Wayne, and more.

Converge - Bloodmoon: I

“We wanted to do something grander than the typical four-piece Converge music,” says Converge vocalist Jacob Bannon in reference to the inspiration that eventually bloomed into Bloodmoon: I, the new collaborative album created by the legendary hardcore band alongside dark songstress Chelsea Wolfe, her bandmate/writing partner Ben Chisolm, and Cave In vocalist/guitarist Stephen Brodsky. Bloodmoon: I is out November 19 on CD/Digital via Epitaph Records and on vinyl June 24 via Deathwish.

IDLES - Crawler

IDLES have announced the 12th November of CRAWLER via Partisan Records, the UK group’s fourth album in as many years and the follow-up to their first No. 1, 2020’s Ultra Mono. The 14-track project was recorded at the famed Real World Studios in Bath during the COVID-19 pandemic and co-produced by Kenny Beats (Vince Staples, Slowthai, Freddie Gibbs) and IDLES guitarist Mark Bowen.

First single “The Beachland Ballroom,” named after the iconic Ohio venue, is an honest-to-goodness soul song featuring a gorgeous, gripping vocal performance from frontman Joe Talbot.

Youth Fountain - Keepsakes & Reminders

What began as a solo project by guitarist/vocalist Tyler Zanon in 2013 under the name Bedroom Talk eventually blossomed into a full-blown band by 2017, with the Vancouver-based Youth Fountain (then a duo) proudly announcing their presence with the debut single “Grinding Teeth” and a pair of Pure Noise Records releases that expertly toed the line between pop-punk fervor and more reflective emo moments.
