Polyvinyl Record Co. and emo veterans Braid are excited to announce the Friday, April 7 release of the 25th anniversary edition of the inimitable Frame & Canvas. Entirely remixed and remastered from producer J. Robbins' original tapes with unseen press photos from the era by Andy Mueller, and expanded liner notes, the renovated Frame & Canvas is the brightest articulation of a document that’s been an inextricable force of influence and inspiration since it arrived more than two decades ago.

Central Florida pop-punk outfit Signs of Progress' latest EP "Everything Alters Us" was produced by Seth Henderson at Always Be Genius, who notably worked with Knuckle Puck, State Champs, Real Friends, Broadside, Capstan and more. Its lyrics detail the process of growing up in a sheltered environment and the effects that experience can have on the individual, while still not allowing that experience to change who you are as a person.

Written on the heels of lockdowns, divorce, and addiction, the new LP is a window into the ebbs and flows of recovery.

“This is a textbook ‘I’ve been to therapy’ song.’” says Shit Present vocalist and guitarist Iona Cairns, when musing on the band’s new single ‘Voice In Your Head’, out now. “It really did come as breaking news to me in 2016 that I am not my thoughts and I might learn to have some agency over them. The melody was inspired by a song from the hit movie ‘Josie and the Pussycats’ and I wrote it in my head at work and recorded it on my phone in the toilet.”
