Handheld - A Canadian Tragedy

Canada-based skatepunk band Handheld has returned after a 14-year hiatus with a new LP titled “A Canadian Tragedy”, due out June 14, Digi/LP/CD on Canada’s Thousand Islands Records. The third single “Leaving Candyland” is out now.

Of the single, the band says, "Certain people can leave a lasting impression on you and make you laugh. Leaving Candyland is about Thanksgiving, travel, sales, coaching, polka, family, a radio dj, being your own friend, Christmas, and more polka, oh… and eating a giant steak."

Camp Trash - The Long Way, The Slow Way

Camp Trash seemingly burst out of nowhere with their debut EP Downtiming at the beginning of 2021, armed with catchy riffs and infectious vocals that earwormed their way into your head and wouldn’t let go. It landed on several prominent playlists from NPR, Stereogum, and the cover/feature track of Spotify’s official editorial list, ‘Fresh Finds- Rock’.
 

Beach Rats - Rat Beat

Beach Rats have announced their debut album Rat Beat, will be out on July 29th via Epitaph Records. An impressive lineup of punk rock lifers, the band is comprised of vocalist Ari Katz (Lifetime), guitarist Pete Steinkopf (Bouncing Souls,) bassist Bryan Keinlen (Bouncing Souls,) guitarist Brian Baker (Bad Religion, Minor Threat) & Danny Windas (Let It Burn) on drums. They also share the music video for the album's title track "Rat Beat" which embodies the nature of punk in its purest form; hard, fast and loud.
