After guiding her through the last three Hunger Games installments, director Francis Lawrences teams up once again with Jennifer Lawrence for spy flick Red Sparrow.

Based on the first part of Jason Matthews’ trilogy of novels, Red Sparrow is built around Dominika Egorova, a ballet dancer for the Bolshoi whose career is tragically cut short in the opening sequence, which is set against an equally carefully constructed meeting between first-tour CIA agent Nate Nash (Joel Edgerton) and one of his informants.

Steven Spielberg’s latest would make for a great drinking game. Whenever you spot a pop culture reference, you have to do a shot. None of you will get to see the end of the movie, but lots of fun will be had. That’s because Ready Player One is based on Ernest Cline’s 2011 sci-fi novel and is pretty much non-stop 1980s pop culture references.

When this reboot of Tomb Raider kicks off, Lara Croft (Alicia Vikander) is working as a badass bike messenger in London. But when she finds a clue about her presumed dead father’s (Dominic West) whereabouts, she sets out on her first adventure and becomes… well, the Lara Croft we all know since she first popped up in the 1996 PlayStation game.
