Punk rock lifers CURBSIDE have announced their brand-new album, A Lifetime To Outgrow, due out August 8 on Thousand Islands Records (with European distribution via Bearded Punk Records). Alongside the announcement, the band has released a soaring and emotional new single, “We Were The Thieves,” now available on all streaming platforms.

In a treat for longtime fans, CURBSIDE’s 2012 debut full-length The Sound I Know will also be getting the vinyl treatment for the very first time, reissued in conjunction with the new album.

Rising melodic punk band Lot Lizards is back with “Broken Parts”, an emotional, high-energy single set for release on June 6th. This marks the first track off their upcoming full-length debut, The Horrors of Adulting, arriving July 25th on Punkerton Records.

“Broken Parts is the punk anthem for anyone coming to terms with the slow breakdown of the people we love,” says frontman Jon Barnes. “It’s about my father, who is struggling with Parkinson’s disease. It’s heavy and deeply personal, but there’s also catharsis in facing that reality head-on.”

Assertion is a band forged in resilience, built on chemistry, and sustained by the will to keep moving forward, even when everything seems to fall apart. Formed in the Pacific Northwest by drummer William Goldsmith (Sunny Day Real Estate, Foo Fighters) and vocalist/guitarist Justin Tamminga, the band introduced themselves with Intermission in 2021, a record marked by raw immediacy and the renewed sense of purpose that came from returning to music not out of obligation, but out of necessity.
