Bringing together members of Naked Raygun, The Methadones and Blood People, the new project Violets has long tentacles in Chicago's punk rock history. Just don't expect them to sound like anything familiar.

“People likely have a preconceived idea of what we’ll sound like. And they would be wrong,” says drummer Michael Soucy. “We really don't sound like any of our past bands,” adds guitarist Bill Stephens. “How about we just describe ourselves as kick ass?”

Memory Entry - Our World Is Going To Disappear

Brooklyn trio Memory Entry will drop their debut EP Our World Is Going To Disappear on March 21 via Iodine Recordings + Mind Over Matter Records.

The band formed in early 2020 when the three original members got together for an impromptu jam session. They carved out the beginning of what would become the song "Crawler" and parted ways, not realizing they wouldn't step foot into the practice space again for another 19 months due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

Dutch Nuggets - FISHBOWL’D

Montreal skate punk favorites Dutch Nuggets are finally back from hibernation with their long-awaited second full-length album, Fishbowl'd!, out April 4th via Thousand Islands Records/Bearded Punk Records. The boys teamed up with Thousand Islands Records and Chris Fogal (Cigar, Pears, Counterpunch) to deliver a perfected and matured version of their signature blazing punk/hardcore sound, complete with infectious three-part harmonies, while also exploring some new territories. Dust off your board, old fart—the Nuggz are back at it!

Another Damn Disappointment - Bedlam

Sacramento punk heroes Another Damn Disappointment (A.D.D.) are back with the new album Bedlam, set for release on April 21 via the band's own label imprint Disappointed Records. The album is the last to feature founding member/bassist Casey Marsullo, who tragically lost his life in a car accident in 2016. Lead singer Joshua Thompson was able to finish the lyrics and record the vocals later, ultimately completing the album with support from the band.
