Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle

I doubt anyone was really waiting for a sequel to 1995’s Jumanji, a movie best remembered for having Robin Williams and (at the time) impressive CGI. But here you go… a brand new Jumanji movie. And you know what? It’s not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure

Even though The Death Cure comes three years after The Scorch Trials, we don’t get a short who’s who or a ‘what happened previously’ at the beginning of the movie. Instead, you are left to your own devices while the movie kicks off in high gear with a train heist that seems to be lifted straight out of Fast Five as Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and his friends are on a mission to free their captured friend Minho (Ki Hong Lee) from the claws of WCKD. After that they have to go through the Flare-zombie infested wasteland and into the Last City to free a bunch of other people.

Living With Lions - Island

Canadian emo punk-rock band Living With Lions has announced plans to release their 5th studio album, Island, on September 14th with No Sleep Records (USA), Bloom (Canada), Ice Grillz (Japan) and Redfield (Europe). The band has debuted the record’s first new single, “Tidal Wave,” which can be streamed now at Spotify.
 

Actor Observer - Pareidolia

Orange County independent record label No Sleep Records has announced today, that New England based post-hardcore band Actor Observer has joined their roster. The 5-piece group made up of Greg Marquis (vocals), Dan Bob Goterch (drums), Brett Colangelo (bass/vocals), Nick Grieco (guitar/vocals) and Kyle Kowalsky (guitar), will release their label debut, full-length, Pareidolia, on August 24th.
