Weezer's Black Album will be out March 1, 2019 via Crush/Atlantic. The Black Album includes the single “Can’t Knock the Hustle.” TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek produced the record. The Black Album follows 2017’s Pacific Daydream. It’s also the band’s fifth self-titled LP, following their 1994 debut (aka the “Blue Album”), 2001’s Green Album, 2008’s Red Album, and 2016’s White Album.
Late Teens is what happens when four Melbourne musicians come together to create a body of work entirely devoid of outside influence, being answerable to only themselves. Over six weeks, bassist Iain MacRae’s house was converted into a temporary song-writing sweatshop where the band wrote forty songs that were distilled into the dozen that make up the track list on Late Teens. Relying upon the experiences of their friends and people they know as subject matter, Late Teens thematically approaches displacement, relationships, internal turmoil, gentrification and inequality.

Following the success of 2008’s Bienvenue Chez Les Ch’tis, it’s surprising that it took writer/director/actor Dany Boon ten years to release a sequel. Well, it’s actually more of a spinoff. And it’s even more surprising that it took him this long to end up with a movie as crappy as this one. La Ch’tite Famille once again sees Boon playing a lovable, heavily accented man from the northern part of France but other than that the movie doesn’t have a lot in common with the first one.
