The 1865 - Don’t Tread On We!

With their upcoming LP Don’t Tread On We!, out via Mass Appeal Records on January 25th 2019, New York-based blues-punk outfit The 1865 are cooking up a full meal that will tantalize your ear buds. Recently teased, “Buckshot” takes inspiration from 1865 America, post the Emancipation. Each song from the LP features different explorations of life in 1865 America, a land living in the shadows of the fallen Confederacy.

AM Taxi - Shiver By Me

Chicago's AM Taxi has announced plans to self-release their new album 'Shiver By Me' on January 25. Mutant League Records will be exclusively releasing "Shiver by Me" on limited vinyl this April, with pre-orders and more news to be announced shortly.

'Shiver by Me' is the follow-up to the band's debut "We Don't Stand A Chance" released in 2010 by Virgin Records. The album blends old-school punk with modern pop influences as frontman Adam Krier (Lucky Boys Confusion) provides raw anthemic vocals that break though the band's dynamic force.

 

Ex Hex - It's Real

At long last Ex Hex have announced the follow up to 2014’s debut, ‘Rips’. Mary Timony, Betsy Wright and Laura Harris will release their second album together, ‘It’s Real’, on March 22nd via Merge.

I read somewhere that Denzel Washington has never starred in a sequel. I’m too lazy to check if that’s true, but I doubt a lot of actors can make that claim. Especially ones that have played in a ton of successful movies like Washington. Which makes it all the more mind-boggling that when he did decide to join up for a sequel, he picked this turd.
