Steve Marino - Too Late To Start Again

Steve Marino might just be the best kept secret in guitar pop—but not for long. Known for his work playing in bands like Angel Du$t, Jacky Boy, and Bugg, the LA-based songwriter is now stepping into the spotlight with the announcement of his new album, Too Late To Start Again, due out July 28th from Pop Wig Records.

Random Hand - Random Hand

Twenty years in, and top of their game, West Yorkshire, Keighley-bred ska punk icons Random Hand are coming in hot with their fifth album! Their bodies may be creaking with grey hairs beginning to show, but the vitality and relevance of their music isn't changing one bit. Refined and confident, the band’s new album, due September 29th via Bomber Music, is set to redefine their place as one of the UK's most significant and dependable punk bands.

The Penske File - Half Glow

The Penske File have just announced their latest long-player Half Glow on Stomp Records (July 21st) with an accompanying video for the first advance single “Chorus Girl.” The video, which was directed and edited by Victor Wiercioch, is set in a suburban home, where a young woman returns to clear out some of her father’s possessions after his passing; meanwhile, the band belts out the undeniably catchy tune with big hooks and anthemic refrains.

Anberlin - Convinced

Anberlin announce their new EP, Convinced, set for release June 30th on Equal Vision Records. Celebrating 21 years as a band, Anberlin continue to expand their sonic palette, offering a sound that will captivate new and old fans alike. New single “Lacerate,” out now, builds on an electronic beat that leads into an immense full band dynamic. The rhythms combine into a stadium-ready breakdown at 1:55, highlighted by thick guitars, pulsating drums, and scream-sung backing vocals.

Fiddlehead - Death Is Nothing To Us

Fiddlehead are back! Today the post-hardcore heroes have announced their upcoming third full-length, Death Is Nothing To Us, due out August 18th via Run For Cover Records (pre-order). The album finds Fiddlehead completing the thematic trilogy that began with their previous two releases, resulting in a truly special album that feels like both a culmination of the band's work so far, and one of the years most powerful and life-affirming rock records.

Ratboys - The Window

Ratboys have been recording and releasing music for over a decade, but their newest album, The Window (Topshelf Records, August 2023), marks a number of firsts for the band. For starters, it was the first time they’d ever traveled outside their home base of Chicago to record an album, journeying to Seattle to work with producer Chris Walla for three weeks. It was also the first time they’d ever written an album collaboratively from start to finish, having added full-time members Sean Neumann on bass and Marcus Nuccio on drums in recent years.
