As Friends Rust - Any Joy

As Friends Rust have announced their long-awaited new full-length, Any Joy, set for release August 18th on End Hits Records. The melodic punk and hardcore pioneers have created an impactful seven songs, marking their first new music since 2020 and first full album since 2001. Originally formed in the late ‘90s, As Friends Rust has been through a few iterations, but it is the core line-up of vocalist Damien Moyal, guitarist Joseph Simmons, guitarist James Glayat, and drummer Timothy Kirkpatrick that are creating thought-provoking melodic punk music for the modern age.

Bearings - The Best Part About Being Human

Bearings have announced their third album The Best Part About Being Human, due for release on August 18 via Pure Noise Records. Produced by Sam Guaiana (Silverstein, Between You & Me), the new album features the most tightly honed songwriting of Bearings’ near-decade career, instantly nostalgic for sweaty summer festivals and finger-pointed singalongs while serving as a clear indication of where the pop-punk genre is headed.

Meteor Police - NEW TYPE DESTROYER

NEW TYPE DESTROYER is the debut album for Ocean County NJ's Meteor Police. The band refers to themselves as post-punk which is kind of true but doesn't really capture their noise rock or occasional hardcore influenes. The music is heavily bass driven with precise drumming, unpredictable guitar lines, and (mostly) rapid-fire shouted vocals. For fans of Fugazi, Q and Not U, Shame, or really anything that is punk-adjacent and rhythm heavy.
