Therapy? - Hard Cold Fire

Northern Irish rock group Therapy? have announced their new record, 'Hard Cold Fire'. Set for release May 5th via Marshall Records, the group promise "a spiralling, hypnotic melange of grunge-rock and towering melody" for their 16th album. Hard Cold Fire is a reinvigorated take on Therapy?, maintaining the group's classic stoicism and ferocity, but with a new found focus on catharsis and healing. The record seeks to be more approachable than the Therapy?'s previous work, uniting listeners after years in lockdown.

Clayface - Ailments

Formed as teenagers in 2012, Clayface set out to do nothing more than kill some time hammering chords in a parent's basement. Ten years on, the Oldham boys are finally set to release their long-awaited debut album. After a decade of honing their sound, 'AILMENTS’ is their most refined, honest and uncompromising effort to date. Blending early skate punk influences with gruff, shout along melodies and a hint of hardcore purism, Clayface touch on themes of alienation, self-loathing and the frustration of modern-day life.

Brutal Youth - Rebuilding Year

Toronto’s masters of melodic hardcore, Brutal Youth, have just announced the release  of their anticipated new LP Rebuilding Year (due out April 21st on Stomp Records - pre-order) with an advance single and video for the song Moonstones. The single calls to mind late 80’s and early 90’s West Coast punk, with hints of Big Drill Car, ALL and Good Riddance scattered throughout.

Hot Mulligan - Why Would I Watch

Hot Mulligan - self proclaimed #1 Hot New Band and inventors of Post-Emo - have formally announced their forthcoming new album ‘Why Would I Watch’ out May 12 via Wax Bodega. A new song titled “Shhh! Golf Is On”, taken from the album, is out now and can be heard below.

Harsh Realms - CVLT
