Nashville post-punk trio Palm Ghosts released their ‘Escape’ EP via Sweet Cheetah Records and Poptek Records earlier this year. It is the first of no less than four digital EPs the band has lined up for 2024, all of it leading up to a double LP called ‘Facades,’ which will be out at the end of the year. Today, we are happy to premiere ‘Strike The Walls,’ before it hits your favorite digital streaming platform on June 21. If you are curious to hear what it would sound like if Bloc Party covered a Smiths song, this is your chance. It is the third song from the band’s upcoming EP, ‘Masks,’ which will be out July 19 (pre-order).

"Strike The Walls is about seeing people for who you want them to be and not who they really are...yourself included.," explains guitarist/vocalist Benjamin Douglas.

The upcoming LP ‘Facades’ will feature 20 songs that mix genres and moods like no other release in Palm Ghost’s large catalog. The songs will explore topics like religion, cults, love, loss and survival in the modern age. Some with beautiful melodies, some dark and brooding, but 100 percent Palm Ghosts. Both the EPs and the double LP will boast original artwork by the talented Unexpected Specter, who does all of the band’s merch designs.
