Footballhead - Overthinking Everything

Footballhead is a Chicago-based alternative rock band headed by singer/songwriter Ryan Nolen. At its heart, the band is a vessel to toil forward through internal and external insecurity. It also serves the unrelenting spirit of new-millennium Midwestern youth, with MTV and skatepark dreams in the core of their memories. By blending pop structures with alt and emo sounds, Footballhead channels the frantic, dramatic, and anthemic to map the pressure points of existence. It’s outcast music, revitalized in search of a modern, blissful awakening.

Grandaddy - Blu Wav

Legendary indie-rock band Grandaddy has announced a brand new studio album Blu Wav set for release February 16, 2024 via Dangerbird Records. A prolific storyteller, Jason Lytle is inspired by the overwhelming beauty of nature to the mundane moments that spark life’s strongest memories. Introducing pedal steel into the band’s repertoire for the first time, buoyant lead single “Watercooler” comments on the dichotomy of both. It was inspired by having his own outdoorsy rock guy (in both senses of the word) lifestyle while his partner had an office job.

Codeseven - Go Let It In

Legendary independent rock label Equal Vision Records and Codeseven are excited to announce the Friday, December 1 release of Go Let It In, the influential ‘90s/‘00s North Carolina-based melodic hardcore band’s first album in 20 years. A soaring 10-song showcase well worth the wait, Go Let It In addresses the universal emotions all humans experience via catchy reflections on falling in and out of love along with hard-hitting tracks aimed at destroying your enemy.

Walk The Plank - Loathe

Walk The Plank will be releasing their new EP "Loathe" out on Mt. Crushmore Records January 12th, 2024 (pre-order). Produced by Ben Green (Fairweather), this will be their first release since 2018's "Void Treader".

Packed with the grimy riffs and vocal growl that they've perfected over the years, Walk The Plank hits us with 6 energetic songs that will bring you back to the insanity of a 3am DIY show at a Miami hostel.

Sheer Mag - Playing Favorites

Sheer Mag have labored to carve out a discernibly singular position within the canon of contemporary rock: toggling with ease between the refined flourishes of a “connoisseur’s band” and the ecstatic colloquialism of populist songwriting—yet displaying no strict loyalty to either camp—their sound, while oft-referenced, is unmistakably and immediately recognizable as theirs alone.

Laura Jane Grace - Hole In My Head

Polyvinyl Record Co. and Laura Jane Grace are excited to announce Hole In My Head, the Emmy-nominated artist, author, activist and musician’s first offering since 2021’s At War With The Silverfish. Recorded at Native Sound in St. Louis, MO with David Beeman and mixed by Matt Allison (The Lawrence Arms, Rise Against), Hole In My Head is a sonic curio cabinet containing multitudes — a showcase that features warm, ‘50s rock-influenced guitar riffs, saved-for-later lyrics, love letters to new surroundings, and thoughtful reflections on a punk life lived.

Tearjerker - Tearjerker

TEARJERKER will no doubt remind you of a heavy mix of 90’s Punk Rock at its best, a little nostalgia and will leave you wanting to hear more. After all it is engrained in the DNA / make up of Sunderland.
