Bad Religion - Age Of Unreason

Acclaimed Los Angeles punk rock band Bad Religion will release a new album entitled Age of Unreason on Epitaph Records on May 3. Since the group’s formative years they have steadfastly advocated for humanism, reason, and individualism. Now, when these values are in decline and nationalism and bigotry are on the rise, Bad Religion’s message has never been more essential. Age of Unreason delivers a powerful and inspired response - a political and deeply personal treatise on all they believe in.

FURY - Failed Entertainment

FURY announce their sophomore album, Failed Entertainment, coming May 3 on Run For Cover Records -- their first release since signing to the label last year. Forming in 2014, FURY have established themselves quickly. They built on the melodic legacy of Orange County by way of heavy, rhythmic, start-stop guitars and frontman Jeremy Stith's wordy, referential and poetic lyrics. The album's lead single, "Angels Over Berlin", "sums up what love and being a human means to me," Stith explains.

Captain Asshole - What An Awful Life

Captain Asshole started in March 2016. Primarily as an excuse to get together to drink beer, Buschi, Manu and Max would meet up at Buschi’s dorm room and write songs. With no room for a drum set and not even a real drummer things started on a very strange rough note with drum computers used for half a year.

Bad Times at the El Royale

Remember Cabin In The Woods? The movie that was a horror movie but also a pastiche of horror movies? I sure do. Okay, things got batshit crazy towards the end, but it still made me look forward to director Drew Goddard’s new movie. Which is called Bad Times at the El Royale, a neo noir movie that looks beautifully retro and will make you think of Tarantino at least once. Most likely a lot more.

The Damned Things - High Crimes

THE DAMNED THINGS — what are they? Why are they? These are questions NO ONE ever asks. And yet, here we are…

9 wee years ago, Scott Ian - guitarist, beard-man and co-founder of legendary thrash metal outfit, ANTHRAX - took a meeting with the lowly Joe Trohman (also a guitarist, and a co-founder, of the band FALL OUT BOY). While Joe had no beard to speak of, he and Scott hit it off, and started making songs together. Weird, right? Well, they both love THIN LIZZY, and catchy, dirty rock ’n roll music – and doggone, they we’re going to make some of that greasy stuff!
