The seven-headed Aussie rock beast King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard return on Friday April 26th 2019 with Fishing for Fishies, perhaps their most perfectly-realised album to date.
Released on the band’s own Flightless Records, here is a world where the organic meets the automated; where the rustic meets the robotic. Where the past and future collide in the beautiful present.
Seattle punk lifers Dead Bars are back - and they want you to join them at the bar with their sophomore album 'Regulars' (out May 3rd on A-F Records in the North America, Eager Beaver Records in Japan, No Reason Records in Italy, and All In Vinyl in the UK).
"I like this idea of being a regular. There are moments of highs and lows; loneliness and community, sadness and celebration. That's what it's like to be in a band. That's what it's like to be in Dead Bars." says vocalist/founder John Maiello
Very excited to premiere a new song by Florida garage soul outfit Woolly Bushmen.
Check out CJ Ramone's brand-new song “Blue Skies” below. It is the first single off his new album, The Holy Spell..., out May 10th.
CJ Ramone made his name as a member of (arguably) the greatest punk band of all time, and nearly 25 years after that experience, it’d be understandable if CJ now spent his days resting on his legacy and tsk-tsking the state of punk rock. Instead, The Holy Spell…, CJ’s third full-length for FAT, joyfully celebrates his undiminished love of music. It’s right there in the title.
Guards second full-length album Modern Hymns was recorded over the span of the past 5 years. After touring extensively for their first album “In Guards We Trust”, they retreated to the isolation of Sagaponack, New York to write a new album. After six months of writing and what seemed to be a never-ending battle to be released from their label, the group decided to head out west. They rented a house in the Valley of Los Angeles that had a studio attached to it, and began recording what would become Modern Hymns.
Bristol punk band Weatherstate have announced that their debut album ‘Born A Cynic’ will be released May 10 via Wiretap Records in North America and Failure By Design in UK/EU. They’ve also revealed a new single ‘Brain Dead’, with a music video to go with.
Vocalist and guitarist Harry Hoskins says “Brain Dead is a song about disconnecting your feelings from yourself and your surroundings but enjoying every minute of it. This was one of the first jams we wrote for the record and the breakdown stuck out as something new for us. It was cool to throw a bit of a spanner in the works.”
