The three years since Haybaby’s last release have been long and tumultuous ones for the band. Following the high of their debut release Sleepy Kids and subsequent EP Blood Harvest through Tiny Engines, singer/guitarist Leslie Hong’s father was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, which instigated a life-altering move from New York to Virginia to help see him through a long and ultimately fatal battle with the disease.
Los Angeles, CA – Northern California heavy-rock band State Faults has emerged from a 4 year hiatus to announce the upcoming release of their 3rd full-length album, Clairvoyant, that’s due out on June 21st from No Sleep Records (North America) and Dog Knights Productions (Europe). Today, the band has released the record’s first single, “Moon Sign Gemini”.
The Dangerous Summer have announced their new album 'Mother Nature,' out June 14th via Hopeless Records, and have shared the latest single "Way Down".
Speaking to the new single, the band said, "This song's about losing everything, and reveling in self degradation and pity. When the world hits you, asking it to hit harder, and embracing the pain."
San Jose rock band Stickup Kid is back with a new album, 'Soul Drive,' which will be released on May 3rd. Formed in 2009, the band was previously signed to Billie Joe Armstrong's Adeline Records. 'Soul Drive' is their first new full-length since 2013's 'Future Fire.'
Stickup Kid has shared the stage with acts such as Green Day, The Story So Far, Real Friends, Modern Baseball, Living With Lions, In Her Own Words, A Loss For Words, Handguns, Seaway, Neck Deep, Knuckle Puck, and Citizen and has appeared at The FEST.
Brooklyn's Jeanines specialize in ultra-short bursts of energetic but melancholy minor-key pop. With influences that run deep into the most crucial tributaries of DIY pop — Messthethics, the Television Personalities, Marine Girls, early Pastels, Dolly Mixture — they've crafted a style that is as individual as it is just plain pleasurable. Alicia Jeanine's pure, unaffected voice muses wistfully on the illusions of time, while My Teenage Stride/Mick Trouble mastermind Jed Smith's frantic Motown-esque drumming and inventive bass playing provide a thrilling rhythmic foundation.
We are very happy to premiere the new video by LA punks The Last Gang for the song ‘Believe in the Poet’. The track comes off the band’s Fat Wreck debut album, ‘Keep Them Counting,’ which came out last year.
