Brooklyn-based band Pretty Rude will release their highly anticipated debut album, Ripe, on May 16 via SideOneDummy Records. The record will be available digitally and as a limited-edition vinyl and can be pre-ordered now. Ripe was produced by the band and mixed by Jake Sinclair (Weezer’s White Album), with mastering by Zach Weeks at God City.

Iodine Recordings is pleased to announce it will release A Malign Star, the long-awaited sophomore LP from Boston's Bloodhorse, the band featuring members of iconic Massachusetts bands American Nightmare, The Red Chord, and All Pigs Must Die. Southern California post-hardcore outliers Spark of Life are set to release their long-awaited sophomore album, Plagued By The Human Condition, on May 30 via New Age Records. The LP sees the band pushing their sonic boundaries while maintaining the raw energy and emotion that have defined their sound since day one.

Since 2016, Milwaukee band Sex Scenes’ snotty blend of thrash riffs, mid tempo hardcore and catchy hooks has made them a unique presence in both the hardcore and indie rock/punk scenes around the Midwest. Throughout their long tenure, they’ve played shows with everyone from Weedeater to Jack White; not being out of place on either bill.
