2008’s The Strangers was a relatively effective horror flick. Not the best horror movie to come out that year, definitely not the worst. Ten years down the line, we are being treated to The Strangers 2: Prey At Night, which isn’t really a sequel. It’s actually just more of the same. In that sense, saying that we are being treated to a sequel, isn’t correct either. That would entail that it is a pleasant experience.
Canadian skatepunks Colorsfade are excited to announce the release of their debut LP "In Real Time". The 11-track offering is scheduled for release on August 30th via Thousand Islands Records and will be available through all digital platforms as well as on Digipak CDs. Today, the Cleveland four-piece Cloud Nothings is back to announce their fifth full-length studio album, Last Building Burning to be released October 19th via Carpark Records (US) / Wichita Recordings (EU). The new album is a culmination of the development of frontman Dylan Baldi's ever-changing sound, following up 2017's Life Without Sound with a new record that sees the band continue to outdo themselves and solidify themselves as a stalwart in modern rock music.

Big Scary Monsters Records are pleased to announce that they will release the new album from Omaha, Nebraska cult rock band Cursive later this year. The record will be the band’s first new material in six years. The new album is titled Vitriola and will be released on 5th October 2018 by Big Scary Monsters (UK) and the band’s own 15 Passenger Records (US).

On October 26th, Manchester based expansive and experimental rock 3/4/5/6 piece PIJN are set to release their debut album 'Loss' through Holy Roar Records (Rolo Tomassi, Conjurer, Svalbard, Møl).

Quebec City skatepunk unit FULLCOUNT has announced the release of a new album entitled "Part of The Game"on October 12th.
For this self-released offering, the band teamed up for physical distribution in Canada/USA with Thousand Islands Records and the Exoshop. Lockjaw Records and Mud Cake Records will handle European distribution while Milestone Records will cover Japan.
“Part of The Game” will be available on vinyl/CD/digital formats and feature 12 tracks of shredding and technical skatepunk.
