Hans Gruber And The Die Hards - 2

What happens when a guy who has the same name as the villain from Die Hard becomes roommates with a punk whose accomplishments include “bouncing around a mosh pit” and finding time to watch every episode of Street Sharks? They form a band, of course! Throw in a surprisingly coherent drummer (he was secretly a college Dean), a songwriting machine bassist with a liberal approach to fashion, manic hardcore tunes, some conspiracy-fueled paranoia, the occasional Harry Belafonte cover, and the result is Hans Gruber and the Die Hards!

Real Sickies - Out Of Space

Real Sickies are launching their pop punk pathogen straight into the final frontier. “Out Of Space” is thirteen rocket-propelled, turbo-boosted, NASA-disavowed tracks of incurable, infectious bliss. Clocking in around thirty minutes, the latest album blasts the patient into orbit with plenty of sweet singalong choruses, blazing down-stroke riffs and enough whoa-ohs to infect even the most jaded extraterrestrial. Real Sickies will be invading a town near you this fall. Until then…Stay sick!

Sicko - In The Alternate Timeline

The first "new" release from these Seattle legends in like 20 years! If there was any justice, Sicko woulda been just as popular as all those huge punk bands that emerged in the 1990's. While much of the West Coast stuff that dominated the scene was macho and bedecked with wallet chains, Sicko was contemporaries with classy bands like MTX, Jawbreaker, and J-Church. They were nerds, and they were OUR nerds. Our champions. After four LPs, the band dissolved in 1998 and, true to form, the members went on to pursue tech careers and attend Oxford.
