Meet NOT, the brainchild of singer/ songwriter Davey Warsop (Beat Union, Suedehead and Sharp/Shock). After having met guitarist Brendan Scholz and bass player Jarred Cooper (both of las Vegas band Mercy Music) at the funeral of their mutual manager and So-Cal punk scene legend, Stewart Teggart, the two decided to start a band together to pay tribute to ALL. Because when your favorite band isn’t making records anymore and you want new songs, there’s nothing left but to DIY.

The band’s debut album is out now on Wiretap Records, Brassneck Records and Waterslide Records and comes with 14 poppy scorchers about love and friendship. Expect plenty of slick hooks, catchy choruses, caffeine-fueled solos and good vibes only. Channeling their inner ALL and Descendents, NOT are obviously not reinventing the wheel here, but instead deliver an album that more than holds up next to the output of their idols.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
