To kick off the new year, The Dirty Nil set their new album free on January 1. Cheekily titled ‘Fuck Art,’ the Canadian trio do what they do best on album number three.
The Hold Steady have announced a new album called 'Open Door Policy'. It’s set for release on February 19, 2021 via the band’s Positive Jams label and Thirty Tigers. The band recorded the 11-track LP at the Clubhouse in Rhinebeck, New York with producer Josh Kaufman and engineer D. James Goodwin.
Some of the more astute No Use For a Name fans among you have probably been wondering exactly when the second installment of the Rarities series would be released. Well, wonder no more. After three years of scouring every NUFAN recording Fat Wreck could get their hands on, Rarities Vol. 2 – The Originals, is finally ready to roll. The album drops on February 12th, and features 15 tracks, comprised of rarities and previously unreleased demos.

Austrian punk rockers DeeCRACKS have announced they will be releasing their new album, 'Serious Issues', on March 12th. This is the follow-up to their 2018 full-length 'Sonic Delusions'.
DeeCRACKS formed in 2003 and have played nearly 1000 shows around the globe and have more releases under their belt that most bands twice their age. 'Serious Issues' is another step forward for these hard working punks as this new album is what fans of DeeCRACKS have come to expect - 16 tracks of fast punk with catchy melodies and singalongs.

Looking back at 2020, it seems like there aren’t any certainties left. A lot of the stuff we have always taken for granted, has changed significantly.
In spite of being together for just over a year and having released only three songs thus far, Canadian newcomers Mediaslaves already made it on the Fat Wreck Chords AIDS Bike Ride Charity playlist with the song “Fleeks and Geeks”. They have also been featured in independent magazines and radio across Canada, Scotland, England, India and the United States. On January 29, the band are set to release their debut EP Fear and Loathing in Outer Space.
