For their latest release, East Bay pop-punks Middle-Aged Queers have covered some of their favorite songs. Ever wondered what Taylor Swift’s ‘Anti-Hero’ would sound like if it was a pop-punk song? Middle-Aged Queers have got you covered. Covered… get it?

It’s pretty much anything goes on Greatest Hits. The band stays relatively true to the original on the Faith No More classic ‘We Care A Lot’ before turning Mazzy Star’s ‘Fade Into You’ into something completely different. The crazy thing? It totally works. They also turn their short attention span to lesser-known greatest hits with Flipper’s ‘Ha Ha Ha’ and Dr Know’s ‘Fist Fuck,’ the latter of which fits Middle-Aged Queers like a glove. And if you are looking for something completely out of left-field, then check out the band’s take on the Spongebob Squarepants theme song in the key of Korn.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
