Detroit melodic punk trio Middle-Out is back with their new single, "Pipe Wrench," the band's first new music since the release of their debut album two and a half years ago.  Mixed and mastered by Chris Fogal (The Gamits), "Pipe Wrench" captures the essence of who Middle-Out is, while also charting new territory as a band. Lyrically, it's a song that is relatable to all of us. We all have hopes and dreams for our lives. For whatever reason, we put barriers and doubts in the way of accomplishing those dreams, making them more and more like a pipe dream with each excuse. 

"'Get over yourself.' A phrase repeated and added to the list of things you'll never get done. When deadlines and responsibilities pile in front of you, it's easier to dig yourself into a hole than it is to scratch and claw your way forward - especially when you are the biggest thing standing in your way.

"Pipe Wrench" sings of the endless dream of getting through the mess. How the dream becomes more and more faint until it's given up on entirely. It becomes buried inside of you while you're buried under the things left undone.  

Every new demand forces you against your will to add another pipe to that pipe dream.  Every obligation is another monster creeping under your bed that wakes you in a panic just as you begin to fall asleep. Each task wears you down until might is just a maybe. Until will turns to won't. Pulling yourself out of a hole is physically impossible. Mentally it's even harder."
