We are very happy to premiere the video for 'Slaughterhouse,' the first single of the Hallingtons' upcoming album, out later this year on Monster Zero. It marks the band's first new material since the release of 2019's 'Hexed' 7".

About the song:

"'Slaughterhouse' was made around the time all hell broke loose last year. Little did we know the situation would be exactly the same a year down the road. Obviously the song is about the pest. The video is pretty much us walking around Oslo' empty downtown area. This has been the situation pretty much all of last year, just like in many other big cities. The situation is still the same, not much going on. Bars are closed."

The Hallingtons from Oslo, Norway started in 2010. The current lineup with Tor (drums & vocals), Jørgen (guitar & vocals) and Mikel (bass & vocals) have been  going steady  since 2012. The vocals, both the lead and the back-ups, are shared between the 3 of them. The band is heavily inspired by the Ramones (obviously), but also just as much by many of the bands that defined the 90s pop punk scene like The Lillingtons, The Riverdales, The Queers and more. Mikel, originally from Scotland, also plays with his old band back in Scotland, the Lemonaids.

The world's most boring apocalypse may have slowed down the finalization of the Hallingtons' album, but it will be out as soon as it got vaccinated.
