After recording “Coaster” – the band’s eleventh full-length – NOFX found themselves with a handful of leftover songs they didn’t feel like leaving behind on the cutting floor. So that’s how come we now get to enjoy the “Cokie The Clown” EP with four new songs and an acoustic version of “My Orphan Year”.

The new songs are all typical NOFX songs (duh!) which means they are fast and fun and totally predictable. But hey, when’s the last time you heard a NOFX fan complain about the lack of originality?

If you’ve never been a fan of Fat Mike and his friends, you’re most likely not going to be won over by “Straight Outta Massachusetts” or “Co-Dependence Day”. So there’s that and the fact that you’ll never be a fun person to be around. Everyone else will want to pick this one up. Vinyl freaks beware… this is also available as two separate 7”!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
