In honor of Record Store Day, the veteran pop-punkers in New Found Glory released a 7” with six Ramones covers. It starts out with “I Wanna Be Sedated” and is followed by three songs with the word ‘rock’ in the title and rounded out by “Judy Is A Punk” and “The KKK Took My Baby Away”.

I’m sure they had a lot of fun making this but with the band’s modern sound, New Found Glory managed to erase all of the charm that made the originals so much fun. Which means you end up with six soulless songs that sound good but are devoid of any human emotion.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
