The one man project out of Germany that is Neon Bone is making it last on album number four. A dozen new poppy, fuzzed up tunes make you forget just what a shitty year it is that we are going through. It’s all buzzing guitars, bright and shiny melodies and maintains a perfect balance between raw and poppy.

Draw a Venn diagram between 90’s Lookout! styled pop punk, late 50’s/early 60’s doo wop singles and the first couple of Ramones albums and you will find Neon Bone right in that sweet spot where all three overlap. Like Masked Intruder without the criminal inclinations, Neon Bone just makes it all sound so easy with songs effortlessly flowing from one sugary pop-laden hook to the next sweet guitar lead.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
