Do you enjoy the occasional offering of lightning-fast melodic punk rock? Then do yourself a favor and check out Making Friends’ debut album, ‘Fine Dying,’ if you haven’t already done so. I slept on this one since it came out last November. Make sure you don’t do the same.

These former members of Fastfade, The Meantime Collective and Indoor Swimming have been cranking out  the kind of punk rock that harkens back to 90’s Fat Wreck legends like No Use For A Name and Lagwagon since 2020. With a British accent to boot. Not bad, right? And what’s even better: they totally nail it!

Expect nothing but breakneck speeds, great melodies, thrashing guitars, and more harmonies than you'll find in a mindfulness class.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
