These Gainesville natives don’t sound like your typical Gainesville band, meaning they don’t have those typical gruff and gritty vocals. Instead these guys hail from the Samiam school of rock and on “Walk It Off”, they nail it. Armed with plenty of hooks and some sweetass guitar licks, these guys crank out a batch of solid tunes that are as highly melodic as they are rocking.

With just nine songs, Edmonton are careful not to wear out their welcome. They are playing at this year’s Fest and I’m planning on being there!

Chisel Records has been a distro for a couple of years now and with “Walk It Off”, they have released their very first own release. And a damn fine one it is to start with!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
