Cleveland, OH’s own Model Martel has signed to Snappy Little Numbers, who will be releasing the band’s debut album ‘A Thousand Couple Times’ on September 3 (pre-order). The album will be available as a 12” vinyl LP and a digital long player, with pre-orders live now. Today, we’re thrilled to premiere the video for their explosive first single, ‘Mitt,’ a fitting introduction to the band’s sound: melodic, urgent, and full of grit.

Model Martel brings a sharp mix of post-hardcore and emo influences, delivered with the grit and heart of seasoned punk veterans. Made up of longtime friends and collaborators Tim Gill (guitar/vocals), Jason Utes (bass), Rozco/Chris Provchy (guitar), and Ryan Kelly (drums), Model Martel’s collective résumé includes stints in Northeast Ohio punk staples like Echoes of Harpers Ferry, Worship This, and Seafair. While they may spend as much time debating pro wrestling and doom-scrolling through congressional TikToks as they do writing songs, their chemistry and intensity are undeniable.
