Detroit metalcore band Walls of Jericho have announced their new studio album, System Error: Humanity, set for release on November 13 via Napalm Records.
The album marks the band's latest full-length release following a career that includes records such as The Bound Feed The Gagged (1999), All Hail The Dead (2004), With Devils Amongst Us All, The American Dream, and No One Can Save You From Your Self. Over the years, the band has also performed at festivals including Louder Than Life, Hellfest, Tied Down, and Furnace Fest.
Alongside the announcement, Walls of Jericho have released the first single, "The Ascent," accompanied by an official music video.
Frontwoman Candace Buckingham described the new album as "raw, unapologetic, and the most aggressive record to date," adding that the band aimed to capture the energy of its live performances. She said the album's lyrics focus on themes including identity, self-determination, and resisting external pressures.
Discussing "The Ascent," Buckingham said the song explores personal growth through self-reflection, describing it as a track about confronting difficult truths and finding strength through discipline and honesty.
System Error: Humanity was produced by Kurt Ballou (Converge), whose previous production credits include albums by NAILS, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Code Orange, and Every Time I Die. The album also features guest appearances from Randy Blythe (Lamb of God) on "Broken Mouths Can't Speak" and Guy Kozowyk (The Red Chord) on "Humanity."
The album will be released on November 13 through Napalm Records, with pre-orders and the video for "The Ascent" now available through the band's official channels.
