Since 2015, So Totally humbly studied their surroundings and themselves, perfecting a sound present from 2016’s A Cheap Close-Up of Heaven, and 2019’s In The Shape Of. So Totally’s shimmering guitars typically sit underneath lush vocals that recall 90’s groups like Swirlies and The Breeders. These releases brought So Totally to the point of singular focus on drafting their third album, Double Your Relaxation.

    

Montreal punks, Hood Rats, have announced their upcoming LP will be released by Dirt Cult Records on April 5th and they will be hitting the road on April 4th to celebrate. You can listen to the first single below.

Hood Rats are a punk band from Montreal. They've been kicking around since 2017 and have released various singles and demos since. This is their debut full-length. Fast and furious punk rock that falls somewhere between French Oi and no frill garage rock.

Alternative rock group The Early November is thrilled to announce their forthcoming Self-Titled album, set for release on June 14th via Pure Noise Records. Featuring lead single “What We Earn”, The Early November is a 10 song collection that pays homage to who the band is, was, and has yet to become.

On the new single, frontman Ace Enders shares: “’What We Earn’ was the first song written for the album, and probably the most intense as well. It’s about the realization that the glass ceiling over our heads is supported by the walls we build throughout our lives.”

SUCK BRICK KID will drop their new album The End Is What I Want via Smarpunk Records on May 17. Ahead of the album release, the band is also debuting two singles: "It's Okay…Probably" and "Unacceptable."

Suck Brick Kid's upcoming album is a fun, yet introspective punk record about how they think you felt when you inscribed your life's work to that snot rocket-inhabited bathroom stall. NC's Totally Slow offers up razor sharp, no-frills punk music, with angry lyrics that show how the personal is inseparable from the political when the country is on the brink of chaos. The band has combined the melodic anthems of 1980s SoCal bands like The Adolescents, Agent Orange and The Faction, with the skewed rawk of ‘90s San Diego bands Drive Like Jehu and Truman’s Water, and the righteous conviction of classic DC hardcore like Dag Nasty, Gray Matter and Fugazi.
