Swerve

Craig Lahiff’s outback-set movie Swerve comes with a drug deal that ends bad for one of the guys involved, a bag full of money and a dead body on the side of the road, a sexy chick and a guy who happens to drive by at the wrong time. And that’s just the first ten minutes… so far so good, right? Right.

The Broken Circle Breakdown

Based on the play with the same name, “The Broken Circle Breakdown” is about an atheist romantic called Didier (Johan Heldenbergh) who falls head over heels in love with the heavily tattooed Elise (Veerle Baetens). When their baby Maybelle is born, it seems like their luck knows no end. Until Maybelle gets sick that is. The two of them react in completely different ways and their relationship gets its first proper test.

Company Of Heroes

Company Of Heroes is an old-fashioned war movie that fits in perfectly with the likes Guns Of Navarone and The Dirty Dozen. A bunch of soldiers get stuck far behind enemy lines during WWII and stumble across a secret superbomb that Hitler is trying to develop. In an attempt to prevent a tragedy that could very well affect the outcome of the war, they decide to go after the professor behind the program who is looking to defect.

Adulthood

Fresh out of prison after serving time for murder, Sam (Noel Clarke) comes home only to find out that six years after the facts, people are still looking for revenge. As he weaves his way across London, he’s forced to confront his enemies as well as his victims along with his past actions.

Love Hurts

Ben is a middle-aged doctor (Richard E. Grant) who seemingly has everything that life has to offer – a good job, a nice house and a beautiful wife called Amanda (Carrie-Anne Moss) – goes through life without really living it. His wife however isn’t having it any longer and moves out. With Amanda gone, Ben slips into a depression until his son Justin (Johnny Pacar) gives him a makeover and ends up making his dad the most eligible bachelor in town.
