Dear White People is set at the fictional campus of Winchester University, where we get to follow four black students on a predominantly white college.

Doug Harris (Josh Gad) is a socially awkward groom-to-be who reaches out to Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart). Callahan runs a successful business called Best Man, Inc. where friendless people like Doug can hire him to be their best man. Seeing as Doug has no groomsmen either, which means that Jimmy has to pull off the mother of all schemes, the Golden Tux. Of course, hilarity ensues while both Doug and Jimmy learn a thing or two about friendship along the way.
