Hovvdy - Heavy Lifter

Austin, TX's Hovvdy have announced their new album, Heavy Lifter, with a lyric video for its lead single "Cathedral." The album is available for pre-order now and out 10/18 via Double Double Whammy.

Charlie Martin and Will Taylor met at a baseball game while on tour drumming for different bands. Back home in Austin, the two Texas natives discovered both held batches of compatible songs, intended for solo projects. They merged as Hovvdy instead.

WIVES - Removed

Queens, NY-based post-punks WIVES—featuring vocalist/guitarist Jay Beach, guitarist Andrew Bailey (also of DIIV), drummer Adam Sachs, and bassist Alex Crawford—will be releasing their debut album 'So Removed' on October 4th via City Slang.

Grade 2 - Graveyard Island

 Young punk band from the Isle of Wright, UK, Grade 2 will release their third album and Hellcat debut, Graveyard Island, on October 11th. The album was recorded and produced by Rancid’s Tim Armstrong at Armstrong’s Shiprec Studios and mixed by The Interrupters’ Kevin Bivona.
 

Dogbreth - Ever Loving

Seattle's Dogbreth have announced their new album 'Ever Loving,' which will be out October 25 via Asian Man Records. Along with the announcement, the band shared the first single, 'When U Call My Name'.

Microwave - Death Is A Warm Blanket

Atlanta, GA's Microwave have joined the Pure Noise Records roster and have a brand new full-length on the way.
