Today, Vivian Girls have announced Memory, their first new album in 8 years, with the album's lead single "Sick." Memory is an album filled with personal reflections on toxic relationships, the false promise of new love, mental health struggles, and finding ways to accept oneself amidst it all. Fittingly, the sonic textures of the album match this sense of desperation and longing. It's a loud, snarling journey and there's a sense of streamlined direction and intensity to the performances: it sounds like a band returning to a core idea of itself.

New Zealand’s Miss June is excited to announce the forthcoming release of their debut album. Entitled Bad Luck Party, the LP will be released on September 6 via Frenchkiss Records. Today they share the newest single “Enemies” by way of a video directed by Dylan Pharazyn. He notes, “the track gets at that feeling of instability in a relationship when there’s full on confusion around who your friends are or who you are... reality runs amok. I started to imagine this full throttle dream sequence in which a young couple bash through a bizarre night.

Austin, TX dream rock band Silver Bars have just announced their new album Center of the City Lights, coming out August 16th on Shifting Sounds Records. In conjunction with the announcement, the band is premiering a music video for their new song "Lost You to L.A.".

All Eyes West have a new album coming out in August. This trio from Chicago started back in 2010 and went full throttle. They have shared the stage with Bob Mould, Alkaline Trio, OFF!, and a slew of other notable bands since their inception. In between endless tours they have released two full lengths and a handful of EP's. Now they're back with a new single titled "As I Bleed" which is the leading track from their upcoming LP, Like Lightning. The band has teamed up again with Jump Start Records and you'll be able to grab Like Lightning on CD/Digital/Vinyl on August 30th, 2019

Chastity Belt have returned with their first new music since 2017's ‘I Used to Spend So Much Time Alone’. This heartfelt new record, simply titled ‘Chastity Belt’, is due out on Friday, September 20th on LP, CD, digital, and cassette from Hardly Art records, and from Milk! records in Australia and New Zealand and was co-produced by the band and Melina Duterte aka Jay Som. Today the band have shared a self-made music video for the album’s nostalgic opening track, "Ann's Jam”.
