James Alex of Philadelphia’s fiery punk project Beach Slang has revealed the new Quiet Slang “Future Mixtape for The Art Kids" video.

“All the best stuff is part-cracked and part-patched. The best humans are made the same. And that’s all this is—a love letter to all my friends who thought they were meant to die young. See?—we made it,” says Alex about the new video. “Look, if you don’t believe in God, no sweat. Just believe in love.”

Alex linked up with longtime co-producer Dave Downham for Everything Matters But No One Is Listening, who worked with him in bringing on cellist Dan Delaney and pianist Keith Giosa. Rounding out the crew were Stacey Downham, Matt Weber, Charlie Lowe and New Jersey quartet The Warhawks, who lent their voices to evoke what Alex describes as a “back alley choir.”

'Everything Matters But No One Is Listening' is out today via Polyvinyl Records.
