Hand-picked with love by all three band members, ‘Full Moon Forever’ sees Kepi Ghoulie, B-face and the Slackers’ Ara Babajian covering ten songs that are mostly from the darker side of the 80’s.

Some of the choices are classics that have been covered countless times before, like David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ or The Cars hit ‘Since You’re Gone’. And it’s not like Kepi is completely reinventing these songs, but he does manage to ghoulify them so that they blend in nicely with the rest of his discography.

Elsewhere on the album, you are treated to some less obvious choices like Peter Murphy’s solo hit ‘Cuts You Up’or Iggy Pop’s ‘Take Care Of Me’. Whatever route they choose to travel down, Ghoulie & co always manage to make the songs sound like they were originally written by the Ramones. And while ‘Full Moon Forever’ probably won’t make my end-of-year list, it’s definitely a fun one to check out!

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
