Wenches are back and louder than ever. On July 11, the Midwestern rock and roll wrecking crew unleashes their second full-length album, 'Stupid Sick,' the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s 'Effin’ Gnarly.' 'Stupid Sick' was recorded by Carl Byers (Idiot, Graveripper, Usurp Synapse) and mastered by none other than Don Fury (Quicksand, Helmet, Sick of It All). The result is a no-holds-barred blast of filthy riffs, pounding rhythms, and sneering attitude—a full-throttle ripper that should be required listening for fans of Motörhead, MC5, Dead Boys, and The Stooges. Today, we are premiering the full album ahead of its official release.

“Several years in the making, I had to develop an addiction to alcohol, nearly destroy my family and check myself into rehab to get inspired and come up with lyrical content for this record," shares vocalist James Bauman. "Musically, the band really stepped it up this time around and it shows. Jarod’s riffs rock hard and the groove flows sweetly; not to mention Carl Byers’ stellar production combined with Don Fury’s mastery made for a full throttle sound. We’re all pretty proud of this album and look forward to how everyone responds to it.”

With two members hailing from cult Midwest noise-punk acts Racebannon and Medusa, Stupid Sick brings more muscle and precision than ever before. The album also boasts killer guest appearances from Chad Price (ALL, Drag the River, A Vulture Wake) and Jonathan Newby (Brazil, JC Autobody, Fixation Arc), adding even more sonic firepower to the mix.

Get ready—Stupid Sick isn’t just a title, it’s a promise.
