Death Ray Vision is the collaboration between Shadows Fall’s Brian Fair and Killswitch Engage’s Mike D’Antonio. The two of them previously played together in Overcast before moving on to bigger and better things. “Get Lost Or Get Dead” sees them returning to their old ways and as they thrash through five songs that come with additional hardcore flavor, you’ll find yourself thinking of Municipal Waste, S.O.D. and other assorted thrashy hardcore dudes.

Other than the occasional guitar squeal, there’s nothing here that will appeal to the average Killswitch Engage fan. People that love mullets however should go nuts over this and while it isn’t anything the abovementioned bands have already done, the riffs on here are excellent, the drums are relentless and you can just hear Fair and D’Antonio having a good time.
