Boardroom Heroes is a band out of Bethesda, MD that got formed in 2011 by brothers Andre and Augusto Pagliarini, two dudes who apparently grew up listening to a lot of 90ies punkrock of the Epitaph/Fat Wreck variety. Their new EP “New Wage” comes with five new songs that are an absolute pleasure to listen to if you’re into the likes of Lagwagon and No Use For A Name.

These pop-punk ditties are loaded with crispy riffs, tons of energy, catchy choruses and more than enough whoa’s to get you through the week. With the help of producer Brian McTernan (Hot Water Music, Thrice,…) they polished their material to perfection and the result is an EP that’s snappy and one that shows a band playing exactly what they like without giving in to trends and doing a very good job of it.

Lacking the talent to actually play in a band, Tom decided he would write about bands instead. Turns out his writing skills are mediocre at best as well.
