One of the latest additions to the Razor & Tie roster is called The Seeking and listening to “Yours Forever”, it’s not hard to figure out what they are seeking exactly. It’s called a sound of your own.

Not sure whether to choose between the poppy approach to emo and the harder variety that comes with screams and breakdowns, The Seeking chose to do both. That’s why you’ll be hit over the head with more woo oh oh singalong parts than I ever thought possible of hearing on a single album before the song switches gears and comes at you with chugga chugga riffs and screams. Sigh.

It all seems contrived and the fact that the vocalist sounds like a girl in the clean parts with his falsetto voice doesn’t exactly help butch things up.
