Portland's FeverSleep made quite an impression with the release of their debut self-titled EP in October 2023. Boasting a lineup that includes members of Young Livers, Dikembe, and Lock and Key, it should come as no surprise that the band was going to bring their A-game. FeverSleep lives somewhere in the realm between grunge and punk, there's a heaviness and grit that coats their songs that makes them more akin to the branch on the No Idea Records tree where Planesmistakenforstars started. Their new single, "Glassing", is no exception. The song jolts you from the start with its dirty bass tone and driving drums. "Glassing" is FeverSleep's contribution to a four-way split LP that also includes Amusement, ERRTH, and Carnivorous Flower.
Protagonist Music (AZ) and Creep Records (PA) are co-releasing the split on limited-edition translucent grape vinyl that is available for pre-order now. The split will be released on Friday, October 24th where all four bands will be playing showcases at The Fest 23.
