Richmond's Carnivorous Flower are having quite a fruitful year. Just a few months ago, they released their self-titled debut album via Dead Broke Rekerds. The trio, which started as a J-Church cover band, includes ex-members of J-Church and Caves. Soon enough, they found themselves writing original material, and we're so lucky that they did. Their rough around the edges pop-punk oozes that East Bay sound and their new single "Paranoia" continues what they started on their debut album. "Paranoia" is their contribution to a four-way split LP that also includes Amusement (ex-From Ashes Rise), ERRTH (ex-Aspiga), and FeverSleep (ex-Lock and Key).
Protagonist Music (AZ) and Creep Records (PA) are co-releasing the split on limited-edition translucent grape vinyl. The split is out now and all four bands will be playing showcases at The Fest 23 this weekend.
