Upcoming Releases

Tiny Engines is excited to announce the new album from indie punks, LAPêCHE. Autotelic will be out in January of 2026. The band's brand of melodic indie punk has never sounded more urgent with production from Alex Newport (At The Drive-In, Bloc Party, Death Cab For Cutie).
The band's new single “Happy 4U” pairs shimmering alt-pop energy with quietly devastating lyrics—a deliberate contrast that invites discomfort and reflection. The second single from LAPÊCHE’s upcoming LP is both a celebration and a reckoning. Written in the wake of years-long fertility struggles—including IVF and multiple miscarriages—the song holds the ache of private grief alongside the disorienting beauty of others’ joy.
“This song came from the strange tension of being genuinely happy for someone while still grieving your own loss. It's not bitterness, it’s truth. That emotional whiplash of hope, envy, love, and sorrow, all tangled together.” – Krista Holly Diem
With melodic nods to first-wave bands like the Go-Go’s and Missing Persons, and a pulse that leans more pop-forward than the band has ever explored, "Happy 4U" shows LAPÊCHE’s ability to hold space for emotional contradiction. The track reflects the band’s belief that not every ache needs an answer—some just need a sound.
